Vehicle fire sparks 5-acre Rock Fire west of Paso Robles

CAL FIRE/SLO County reported that forward progress was stopped, which is exactly the kind of news we love to hear—especially this time of year when the hills are still green but the dry season is creeping in. If you’ve driven out Vineyard Drive or taken a sunset cruise on Highway 46 West, you know how quickly a spark can turn into something serious out there.
